I appreciate your recent articles on the F-15EX. It is a great aircraft as is the F-35. In fact, the F-35 and F-15EX have complementary capabilities. The Air Force does not think the F-35 and the F-15EX are rivals. Air Combat Command Chief Gen. Mark D. Kelly said in 2020 that looking at the fighters in tandem is like comparing apples to oranges. Nor are the two aircraft competing directly for funding. There will be no trade for one or the other, according to former Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David Goldfein.
