Mr. Jeffrey Starr, Chief Marketing Officer - D-FEND Solutions
"We have an SDR, a software defined radio that's the core unit of the cyber technology. We have a detection zone and a mitigation zone. If a drone comes into the defined protected zone, that immediately sets off an alert to all the associated operators. This can be a manual or autonomous mode. When a drone comes into the protected area, there's a detection. And from that point on it's being tracked. The detection track can identify not only the drone but the takeoff position, the remote control and the location of the pilot" Starr told Warrior.
"Using a knowledge base, we identify the attributes and characteristics of the drone. Then, with decision support, including AI supported decision support, we can then make a decision to mitigate the drone," Starr said.
