Pentagon spokesman John Kirby expressed additional concern about the Russian build up along the border with Ukraine.
The estimation is there somewhere in the area of 100,000 troops, armored vehicles and other weapon systems.
The newer concerns are related to the concept of logistics, medical supplies and potential preparations for a longer term invasion or occupation, things like long range artillery, rockets, missiles, and even S-400 air defenses.
So the question is, as NATO thinks to reposition itself to defend Eastern Europe and be prepared in the event of a contingency, will there be a more short term incursion surrounding the area of Donbas as many have thought, or are we looking potentially at a more longer term invasion?
